Insurance, Policies, Deposits, FYIs and more

Insurance

-Delivered RVs are already fully insured under our included protection package!

-For motorhomes or pickup (non-delivery) trailers, a driver liability policy is required to be purchased from our insurance. This is $19.95-$37/day only for the days that you drive/tow.

-Driver Liability covers the damage to property or person caused by someone driving.

-The physical RV itself is covered for non-driving related issues.

We will provide you with the info needed related to our policy # and the last 6 of the RV's VIN you are driving/towing.

This can be purchased 7 days prior to your departure date.

Some car insurances will not insure a rental trailer, and some insurance we may not allow due to issues with coverage in the past despite their agreement to cover.

-We operate from a list of trusted companies and a true certificate of coverage is required.

-We provide you by email, a PDF to send to your insurance agent for this option.

Deposit and payments for booking

  • Deposit for booking is 25% of total rental from June to mid September. Mid September to end of May is 50% deposit to book. This is required within 24 hours of booking and a card on file is required during this process.

    • Deposits are nonrefundable to hold and secure your reservation as it blocks this timeframe for others.

  • (If your reservation is more than 7 days or for a big holiday weekend or for the next year, we require 50% as a deposit)

  • Remaining payment is due 14 days before reservation on the card on file unless otherwise changed by contacting us. If your booking is less than 14 days away, payment is due in full at booking.

  • Security Deposit for damage is typically a hold authorization Deposit will be processed about 36-48 hrs before your booking start, or mid-day friday if on a weekend to ensure time for deposit to process.

  • Some card companies process and show the deposit as withdrawn, which we do not control and it is just their way of processing it. Either way if there is no issues it shall return! We use Stripe processor.

  • If security deposit doesn't go through, or payment isn't completed before reservation start we will offer to do it the day before you arrive in cash otherwise your reservation is not allowed to continue without full payment and security deposit hold. RV handoff will not proceed without this.

    • Security deposits will be held and or reauthorized if there is any damage until we have a full estimate and we will keep you updated. Once estimates are in, this will be charged to card on file and remaining hold removed. There will be photos taken and a written estimate sent via email for reference.

      Cancellation Policy

  • Reservations canceled at least 30 days before rental start

date are only subject to 25-50% cancellation fee whichever it is per season or special booking event. This is the same as your deposit amount).

  • Reservations canceled more than 14 days but less than 30 days before departure are subject to 50% cancellation penalty.

  • Reservations canceled less than 14 days before departure are subject to the full rental fee.

  • If cancellation request is 7 days or less and is a non-preventable emergency not relatd to an existing condition, Inland NW Rentals may offer an in-house credit good for 1 year at Inland NW Rental’s sole discretion for a $100 processing fee, for emergencies that come up. We may ask for proof in these cases and the credit would be good for 1 year. This is not guaranteed.

  • Cancellation charges will be taken from any renters’ funds available, including: prepayments or security deposit, and card on file.

If our only rental available is a motorhome we will offer you it at the difference and work with you.

  • We have backup RVs we have in place for emergencies to make sure your trip isn't interrupted!

  • Security Deposits

Important Information

as your rental gets close

Each RV has a video walkthrough we have spent time taking to help you feel prepared and comfortable on pickup day.

The walkthrough and handoff will be based on your watching this video and then demonstrating how to operate the important things as follows: Slides, refrigerator, propane on/off, heater/AC, overhead fans, oven/stove, toilet and shower, generator and plugging into power.

For towed rentals: connect/disconnect trailer, tongue jack operation, equalizer/sway control if indicated and stabilizers. We also will perform with you a safety check including lights, chains, and emergency brake cables.

All of our RVs get professional inspections and tire services, and we check and take photos of all RVs before and after rentals. Tire pressures are critical to safety, along with towing speed.

Please do not go over 63 MPH, especially in hot/cold driving situations.

If you have any tires issues, please call us first, and then call your local les schwab! We have roadside service with them and they can change the tire onsite with a replacement if needed. All tires on our vehicles have road hazard warranties and are covered to at least a prorated amount. Keep all tires removed for this purpose just in case.

Pre-Orientation & campsite tips

Tips for when you arrive to your campsite!

Here is some info on how to get your RV setup when you arrive.

1) When you arrive, pull ahead of your stop, park and get out and check out your site. See if it looks level and where the trees are in relation to your slide outs!

2) Use a SPOTTER this is required please use 2 people. Start backing up when your rear tire is 1 foot from the site entry edge. Using 1 hand, back up the RV by pulling the bottom of your steering wheel the direction you want the rear of the trailer to go. video: Example of backing the RV

3) 1 foot before you stop at your goal parking spot for the rear of the trailer, stop, place in park and go inside. Get the level (each RV has a 1 foot long level) and place it in the middle of the length of the trailer, and read it left to right so see the side to side level. If one side is low, move the trailer back a few inches and check again. If still not level, move it forward 2 feet. 99% of the time you do NOT need leveling blocks if you do this. It works very well to have 1 person inside on the phone watching it as you backup slowly and carefully. I do this by myself once my spotter has me close in fact and it is by far the best way to level. If you can't get it level this way I then next pull forward 6 feet going either left or right, and back up the trailer so the tires sit in a different spot, then repeat. If that still doesn't work, then use the blocks, stacking 1 tall in a row of 4 either in front or behind the tires (keeping in mind you will move 1-2 feet for this) and check again.

The bubble needs to be within the lines or the refrigerator will not cool properly.

4) Once you have your side the side, chock with 2 chocks in front and behind a tire on EACH side before starting to lower the jack, then place the jack block under the jack, remove your coupler pin lock and start removing your truck. Make sure all things are removed, then pull truck forward.

5) Using same level now check the front to back at a halfway point and raise of lower the jack to achieve inside the bubble.

6) Lower stabilizing jacks now to only take a small amount of pressure. These are for stabilizing movement NOT leveling and they will damage the RV frame or bend if used wrong. Place blocks under (up to 3) to the legs that have a further distance to go and at least 1 when on soft ground under each foot.

6) Slide out any slideouts if you have them and put down the steps and adjust the height!

Leaving: When leaving it is critical to lift up all stabilizers (please don't over tighten these up) before moving the front jack as they will get damaged.

Delivery and Pickup Times

The delivery time of the camper will be between 10:00 am and 7:00 pm. We will be in contact with you as your trip approaches for a more exact time. This time will vary depending on location rules, other rentals and distance.

Check out time for the camper is 10:00 am. However, you are welcome to stay around the camp site until the campground's check out time. We may need to get it at 10am, so that is why it is that time.

For towed/driven rentals, if there is another rental the same day typically we need the RV by 10:00am, but if not, we can be flexible and workout the best time.

Where are you going to adventure?

When booking your site for delivery or pickup, it is your responsibility to book a site that is appropriate for the

unit you have chosen. Length is clearly listed on here and in Booking Central, out reservation site.

We do not issue refunds if we attempt to deliver and you have booked a site not suitable for the unit you have reserved. If we are able to wait, we will, but there is a hourly rate for waiting onsite for alternate site setup.

Please call to verify if you have questions about fitment or if the site is appropriate- we are happy to give suggestions on best or favorite sites and help.

Nomad fits anywhere, so no issues there! Units 25 ft or less are truly universal fit.

Entertainment

Television reception and cell service can be sketchy depending upon location of the campground. Please plan accordingly.

We highly recommend downloading music and bringing a bluetooth speaker!

We love the Anker Soundcore 2 if you need a suggestion.

We chose Google Drive to upload our orientation videos and they are also on Youtube, so you can download videos if desired and not rely on cell service. YouTube premium allows off data downloads and offers a 1 week trial. The TVs in the RVs have HDMI plugins, sand come with a Fire Stick installed, and you can use your phone hotspot for wifi!

Amenities and Details

Although RVs come with items like stove/ oven/ refrigerator/ TVs and more, these are all convenience items, and if an issue were to occur during use we will do everything possible to remediate an issue.

These items not working are not grounds for a cancellation or refund if something happens during your trip.

We will not send out an RV without all items in working conditions. Bed, heating/cooling, a means to cook, toilet and hand-washing sink are the essentials and not a convenience item.
